*The warranty against bending will not cover any bar that has been damaged due to negligent abuse, maintenance, storage or handling by the user. Negligent abuse includes dropping of the bar in ways other than its intended use. For example, dropping the bar on safety spotter arms, a box, a bench, excessive dropping with damaged or insufficient bumper plates, or excessive dropping with iron plates, etc. Fitness Depot will review each claim on a case by case basis. Over the years we have found that almost all cases of bar warranty issues are a related to abuse of the product.
Upon initial impression I was very pleased; it is a very handsome bar, the bearings spin well, and the knurling is among the best I ever felt. Over a few weeks, a few dings here and there have occured, the black oxide paint has scratched in the area where you deposit the bar on the J hooks. This is to be expected and will happen to any bar. What really disappointed me however was the chrome that began flaking after a few weeks.
For the price, this bar can't be beat! Until it bends it will be my main bar.

Best bar for the price
After my coach bought one of these, I liked it so much and bought one myself to have in the gym. Since, I've been using it for all my barbell work. The smooth center would be my only issue with it, as I am often off center in setting up my squats, but that's my issue, not so much with the bar itself. Otherwise, I've been extremely happy with it.

Nice training bar for the price
Let's be honest : This bar won't win any beauty award. As new, it already has some dings and dents on the chrome plating, probably due to the fact that it was stored one next to another without any foam. The black oxide finish will show some light paint damage after a few gentle use (it even got scratches when put against my car's interior fabric), but other than light cosmetic damage, this bar feels great and, in my opinion, is worth every penny.
Why pay for a Rogue bar when you can get a decent looking bar for half as much? Both are backed with a lifetime warranty for personnal use. Yeah, sure, the Rogue bar looks way better, but this one performs just as good and won't break your bank.

Black looks good with everything... including squats
1500lb rating = no bending = happy deadlifter
Love this bar... no extra play in the bearings, no bending, great grip...
Add on the black finish, which has allowed me to add a grip line with a silver sharpie, and I can't think anything to make this bar better. Thanks Mark, I'm coming back for another one for my wife.
