72” Cross Box Squat Stand Review
Reviewed by: Dan
I have used the above product for the last 1.5 years. I was hesitant on buying it because there are little to no reviews online. After doing some research, I discovered that this rack has close to (if not the same) specs as a Rogue product. This rack is less than half the price and was easy to pickup/transport home. The rack was put together by myself in under 15 minutes and it has been rock solid ever since. I have used this rack approximately 4 times a week. I use this piece of equipment for bench press, deadlifts, squats, pull ups, rack pulls, etc. Despite not bolting this rack to the ground, I have not had any issues loading weight onto this rack and I have never felt unsafe. The most I have loaded onto this rack is 405 LBS. The rack and the j-hooks had no problem bearing the weight. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking to start a home gym. I have had mine in my garage and there have been no issues with corrosion. If I could buy again, I would definitely choose the taller option (92”), as pull-ups on the 72” can be frustrating. The only complaint I have with this product is the J-Hooks do not line up flush with the rack, which causes the bar to roll forwards. In addition, the J-Hooks have worn out overtime due to the knurling of the barbell. I will be looking to replace them in the near future. All in all, I am thrilled with this piece of equipment and I will continue to support the brand as they grow.
